Halloween has been my favorite holiday since I was a wee lad. Every year, I'd gather up my pals and we'd make a game to outdo our previous year's candy load. After outgrowing trick or treating, I commenced on collecting Halloween-oriented tunes. Subscribe from iTunes, download it here, or listen to realpunkradio this Friday at 5 pm central.

The Ledge, Episode 44: It's a Jersey Thing
Last Wednesday evening, I settled down on my couch with a strong whiskey-coke and tuned to Comedy Central to catch the latest episode of South Park. Inspired by the hilarious send-up of Jersey Shore and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, I decided to go through my library to compile a show of nothing but Jersey-oriented band and tunes. There's no Springsteen, Skid Row, or Sinatra in this show (obviously), but two hours of great alternative, punk, and indie rock from the Garden State.

Rant a Bit, Episode 4: Scott and Scott's Pre-election Extravaganza
As outspoken as my cohost and I are about political issues, we both understood that we needed somebody smarter than ourselves to preview the November elections. Who better to bring in than former legislator and city council member Dr. Kermit Staggers? We also invited Yes on 13 proponent Emmett Reistroffer to discuss the medical marijuana ballot issue. Strap in for two hours of uncensored political babbling. Listen to the show at http://rantabit.mevio.com, subscribe via iTunes, or directly download it here.

The Ledge, Episode 42: Happy Birthday John Lennon
This Saturday marks what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday, so it's only natural that this week's episode would celebrate this occasion. I originally intended the show to be a mix of Beatles/Lennon outtakes mixed with a handful of inspired covers. After going through the library, though, I ended up with a folder of over 50 remakes of both his Beatles and post-Beatles originals. I paired down these tracks to this varied mix of styles - from solo folk to punk to ska to mainstream rock. Subscribe via iTunes, download here, or tune into realpunkradio.com this Friday at 5 pm central time.
Here's the tracklist:
1. John Lennon, Give Peace a Chance
