Live Ledge #154: Friends of Cesar Romero

After months and months of has-beens and pretty boy country acts, it was a refreshing change of pace to interview somebody whose music I actually respect. Friends of Cesar Romero are led by former Rapid City native J. Waylon Miller, and our discussion on not only his music but the state of garage rock made it a perfect interview to air on Live Ledge! To read my article based on the interview, head over to my Argus Leader blog!
Besides the Friends of Cesar Romero chat, tonight's show is another "new release" episode. Highlighted by a handful of tracks from the wonderful new Old 97's record, there's also brand new music by Pink Mountaintops, The Strypes, Off!, Sonic Chicken 4, and newly unearthed music by Detroit punk legends, Death. There's also a set of cover tracks by Perfect Pussy, King Khan & The Shrines, Genrationals, and Groovie Ghoulies.
