Live Ledge #323: More Comebacks

Last week's Live Ledge started a two-part look at artist comebacks. Over the last few years, a number of artsits have either returned with new records for the first time in many years, or released their best record in quite some time.

This week includes a number of bands that nobody predicted would put out new music. The Jesus and Mary Chain, Graham Parker with his band The Rumour, The Breeders, and The Suicide Commandos are perfect examples. Hot Snakes shocked everybody with the news that they have reunited.

As for those who released their best albums in years, Guided By Voices leads that category. In fact, they put out two fabulous records last year. Robyn Hitchcock and Paul Kelly have also continued to put together projects, but their 2017 collections outshined other recent records.
