Live Ledge #334: Covers

Every now and then it just makes sense to go through my library and pick out some remakes worth listening to. Between tribute albums, live releases and other archive material, and simply new bands reviving their favorite tunes, a good cover can make the difference between a good and bad album.

Tonight is nothing but covers, and it's full of surprises. Who would have guessed that a tribute to Olivia Newton-John would be listenable? Or that turning post-Clash songs by Strummer and Jones into "Clash-ish" tracks would work? There's no way that a record full of "horse" songs could work, right?

It's quite a fun listen, and hopefully everybody discovers a track or two they've never heard before! You can find this show at almost any podcast site, including iTunes and Stitcher. Or...
