The crowd reached an estimated 10,000 people on Thursday, according to the JazzFest blog. Friday's attendance peaked at 35,000 people and on Saturday there were 80,000 in attendance with an estimated crowd size of nearly 60,000 for Joe Walsh alone – a new JazzFest record.

your thoughts on this taken from the Argus ?

I hope it's true. The Argus tends to just post the Jazzfest press release as fact, but this does seem more realistic than in past years.
