Rural Ledge-ucation #63: New Releases

Having missed a few of my Rural Ledge timeslots this summer, the pile of un-aired new releases has continued to grow and grow. Today's show alleviates that problem a bit, as I play tracks from new massive Ryan Adams box set, along with the Afghan Whigs' cover of Frank Ocean's "Love Crimes", The Blasters collaboration with X's Exene Cervenka on the ol' classic "Jackson", and plenty of other new tracks worth checking out.
No need to go through all the instructions once again. You know the drill. This is available on iTunes, Stitcher, and tons of other online podcast sites. Or, you can just...

The crowd reached an estimated 10,000 people on Thursday, according to the JazzFest blog. Friday's attendance peaked at 35,000 people and on Saturday there were 80,000 in attendance with an estimated crowd size of nearly 60,000 for Joe Walsh alone – a new JazzFest record.

your thoughts on this taken from the Argus ?

I hope it's true. The Argus tends to just post the Jazzfest press release as fact, but this does seem more realistic than in past years.

Yeah, I have my doubts.
