Live Ledge #54: Get Well Slim!
Replacements fans were saddened this week to hear the news that former guitarist Bob "Slim" Dunlap had suffered a stroke. While the initial news was good, he has had two surgeries this week to reduce the swelling in his brain. Please keep him in your thoughts as he fights against this potentially devastating medical problem. For more info, you can join the Slim Dunlap Fan Page on Facebook, or read about his progress on CaringBridge.
Dunlap's situation wasn't the only bad news of the week, though. On February 17, former MC5 bassist Michael Davis died of liver cancer. Tonight's show features not only some of Davis' work in MC5 and other bands, but a long set of MC5 covers by bands such as The Damned, Turbonegro, and The Didjits.
This is definitely a show to hear, and you can find it in the usual locations in iTunes, Stitcher, and other services. The Ledge android/iPhone app has also been updated with the new feeds, or grab a direct download HERE!
