Live Ledge #180: Best of 2014

It's the end of a long, long year. Personally, there were many ups and downs, but musically this has been extremely intersting. Many big names disappointed with their 2014 releases, but so many more exceeded expecatation or seemingly came out of nowhere. Tonight's show is a countdown of the majority of my 40 favorite records of the year. For timing sake, a few things were eliminated, yet I still ran over my two hour broadcast time. For a full recap of my list, please check out my article HERE.
This is definitely a show worthy checking out, and you can grab it at the usual online sources or...

Another amazing show. Scott, your year-end best-of is my favorite of all the music podcasts and lists of the year. So many of your choices are either records/bands I'd pick myself or new discoveries that I end up seeking out based on your show. I think the Muffs were my favorite find this year from the Ledge.

I also appreciate your willingness to call out the BS of magazines like Rolling Stone and their rather uninspired year end lists. So much great, interesting music comes out every year that it's a shame to see so much press given to acts that are often tired or redundant.

Thanks for your great show and all the work you put into it. Don't change a thing!
