Rural Ledge-ucation #65: Waterloo Sunset

Apparently, Ray Davies will be a part of the Olympic final ceremonies tonight. Too bad one has to read the fine print of an article to find out that one of the greatest songs of all time, "Waterloo Sunset", will be aired to millions (or do they still claim billions) of people around the world. No, it's more important to make a big deal out of a Spice Girls reunion (blech) or what I prefer to call The Half-Who.
It doesn't really matter either way, I guess, as I have not watched a single second of this year's Olympics. I'll never ignore a chance to play Ray's wonderful tune, though, so it does get an airing on today's show. There's also a birthday tribute to Elliott Smith, who would have been 43 on August 6. Add in some Yo La Tengo, Graham Parker, and a new collaboration between Andre Williams and The Sadies and you have a show!
You can get this hour-long extravaganza via iTunes, Stitcher, The Ledge android/iPhone app or...
