Live Ledge #185: New Releases

If this show is any indication, 2015 is going to be a great year for music. We've already seen the triumphant comeback of one of rock's greatest bands (Sleater Kinney), a surprisingly great album of Sinatra covers (Dylan's Shadows In the Night), and new and upcoming releases by the likes of Steve Earle, The Mahones, Danko Jones, and many others. There's even two new followups to the wondrous Back From the Grave 60's garage rock compilations.
There's also a plethora of new or sort-of-new garage-oriented bands that deserve attention. Endless Bummer, Mozes and the Firstborn, The Living Eyes, The Blank Tapes. The list goes on and on, and hopesfully will continue to grow as the year continues.
