Live Ledge #331: Record Store Day

Oh look, I'm back!!!

Yes, it's been a long three weeks since my last show. Live Ledge #330 was produced under blizzard conditions, and this episode now features sunny skies and a high of almost 80. What a weird world we live in.

My apologies for missing these past couple of weeks, but I had a conflict with my other show, Day Drinking With Scott & Colette. My cohost, the beautiful and talented Colette Lala, was on the west coast visiting friends, so we were forced to record on Friday instead of our usual Thursday afternoons.

So tonight's Record Store Day theme was put together for last week, but it was just impossible to make my 7 pm ET realpunkradio start time. Trust me, this show is definitely worth the wait. This year's Record Store Day, always my favorite "holiday" of the year, was chock full of great special releases. There were very few of the silly colored vinyl versions of albums you can find in the bargain bin. No, there were a ton of previously-unreleased live and studio material that made it's way to independant record stores all around the world.

And it's also a varied set of records This year. There were some great jazz and country records for fans of those genres, and the rock releases went from rare Zeppelin to...well, rare Superchunk. The two hours of this episode will just fly by.

You can find this show at almost any podcast site, including iTunes and Stitcher. Or...
