Live Ledge #349: 2013

Over the course of a year there are so many shows devoted to individual years in the past. Hell, there's been five or six just on 1978 this year. But most of these shows go back at least 20 years. This week I decided to just rewind half a decade. The following two hours of music isn't necessarily my favorite records of the year, but quite a few of them did make my year-end list.

2013 will always be a memorable year for Replacements fans, as Slim Dunlap's serious stroke ultimately led to the a version of The Replacements hitting the road in 2013. Slim's music fans also came together to record their versions of Slim's tracks. Tonight we sample some of the highlights of the "Songs For Slim" compilation.
