Live Ledge #181: Leftovers

The year 2014 was ultimately a surprisingly great one for music. Even after a show devoted to the best reissues of the year, and another show counting down my 40 favorite new records, I had a ton of great music that deserved to be noted.
Tonight's show is dedicated to those albums that could have or should have made either of those two lists. There's a set of nothing but reissues from the likes of Radio Birdman, Game Theory, and Yo La Tengo. The vast majority of the show consists of noteworthy new releases, including material released by veterans such as the Supersuckers, Cracker, and Chris Spedding. But there's also a ton of new bands that hit the scene this past year, including The Pink Tiles, Sugar Stems, together PANGEA, and so many more. Take a listen and I'm sure you'll find some new favorites.
