Live Ledge #325: International Women's Day

Yesterday was International Women's Day, and to celebrate Emotional Response Records put out two brand new installments of their lauded Typical Girls compilation. Both Vol. 3 and 4 are fantastic collections of female fronted punk and post-punk.

Those two sets, along with the special day, influenced a last minute decision to put together a show of nothing but recently released female rock and roll. From new tunes from legends Alice Bag, The Breeders, and Amy Rigby to brand new critically acclaimed acts such as Camp Cope and Soccer Mommy, this is one of the strongest Live Ledge episodes in quite some time.
