2018 is quickly coming to an end but the record industry keeps pumping out brand new tunes. Tonight's supersized episode highlights the great rock and roll that has come out in recent weeks, including the returns of Paul Kelly, Bad Sports, Cloud Nothings, Mark Sultan, and so many more. There's a covers record by Ty Segall. Damaged Goods Records has a multi-disc set to celebrate theri 30th anniversary. The Kinks note the 50th anniversary of arguably their greatest album, The Village Green Preservation Society. Smoking Popes have put out the first new tunes with their original lineup in over 20 years.

And there are also a plethora of new bands. Justine and the Unclean, The Vagoos, The Ghetto Blasters, BlankSpots. The list goes on and on. Robert Pollard from Guided by Voices has unleashed his hardcore country project, Cash Rivers. There literally is something for everyone in tonight's show.
