Live Ledge #81: Family Tree

The concept is pretty simple - play a track by a band you love and then follow it up with spin-offs, solo projects, subsequent bands, etc. Tonight's Live Ledge featured a handful of these types of sets dedicated to The Replacements (shocker), Husker Du, Rocket From the Crypt, and Sonny Vincent. Besides those lengthy sets, there were new releases by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Raveonettes, The Whigs, Robert Pollard, and many, many more, along with the usual blog finds, reissues, and other longtime faves.
